Most of my Unhack posts take weeks to write. I draft them up, let them sit for a month or so, then come back and revise them at least once before they go out. At one point, I had about 20 posts drafted. But the reserve has pretty much run dry, and what's left needs a lot of work, so I need to take a pause to refill the pipeline.
Sounds like a good plan of practising what you're preaching [writing]
Will Storr says it takes him between 2-4 weeks to write a good post - time to think and plan, to draft, to write and then rewrite.
